EPL: Wolves close to appointing Pereira as new manager

Wolves are close to appointing Vitor Pereira as their next new manager.

This was disclosed by football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano in a tweet via his X account on Monday morning.

According to Romano, the deal to appoint Pereira is ‘almost done.’

“Wolves are closing in on the appointment of Vitor Pereira as new head coach, deal almost done.

“Details being fixed on exit clause from Al Shabab as @David_Ornstein reported. It’s all set to be signed,” Romano tweeted.

Wolves had parted company with their manager Gary O’Neil and his backroom staff on Sunday.

EPL: Two clubs sack managers after defeats

O’Neil was sacked after Wolves’ Premier League 2-1 defeat against Ipswich Town on Saturday.
