Nigerian airline secures IATA certification

A Nigerian airline, Air Peace, has secured International Air Transport Association Operational Safety Audit, IOSA, certification.

The company made this known in a statement sent to Media Talk Africa.

This is an indication of growth in Nigeria’s aviation sector.

Reacting to the development, the chairman of Air Peace said that the certification is a win for Nigeria.

“This is a proud moment for Nigerian aviation,” Onyema said.

“This certification reaffirms our dedication to providing world-class services while upholding the highest safety standards. It reflects the hard work and resilience of our entire team,” he added.

The achievement marks a significant boost for the country’s aviation sector.

The certification for the Nigerian carrier places it alongside international heavyweights such as British Airways, KLM, and Delta Airlines.
