Moment passengers prayed as UA flight declares mid-air emergency [Video]

On Thursday, passengers aboard United Airlines Flight from Lagos to Washington, D.C. faced a terrifying ordeal when the Boeing 787-8 was forced to declare an in-flight emergency.

Media Talk Africa reported that the aircraft, carrying 245 passengers, eight flight attendants, and three pilots, made an emergency return to Lagos after the situation unfolded mid-flight.

Reports suggested that some individuals on board sustained injuries during the incident.

As the flight navigated the harrowing situation, passengers were seen praying, reflecting the tense atmosphere.

However, the aircraft safely landed back at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos.
