Pole Iga Świątek solidified her position at the top of the WTA world rankings released on Monday after capturing the Qatar Open title over the weekend. The 21‑year‑old French and US Open champion dropped just five games throughout the tournament, securing her second consecutive Doha victory by defeating Jessica Pegula in the final on Saturday.
Aryna Sabalenka remains in second place, while American Jessica Pegula moves up to third in the standings despite her loss to Świątek. Tunisian Ons Jabeur falls to fourth after being sidelined by injury since January, causing her to miss this week’s Dubai WTA event. The remaining top‑10 players are all competing in the United Arab Emirates.
