LG Polls: Lagos APC holds stakeholders’ meeting Wednesday

The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, is set to convene a high-level stakeholders’ meeting on Wednesday at the party’s state secretariat located on Acme Road, Ogba, Ikeja.

In a statement jointly signed by the Chairman of the State Electoral Committee, Babatunde Ogala, SAN, and Secretary, Nurudeen Bamidele, the meeting is scheduled to commence at 10:00 a.m.

Expected attendees include Prince Tajudeen Oluyole Olusi, the 57 local government party chairmen, the three incumbent APC senators representing Lagos, members of the House of Representatives, and members of the Lagos State House of Assembly.

Senior party figures from all 57 local councils will also be in attendance.

Also invited are chairmanship aspirants who have been cleared by the party’s Screening Committee for the forthcoming primaries, outgoing local government chairmen, and members of the APC State Executive Council.

The meeting is a strategic part of the party’s preparatory activities ahead of the upcoming local government elections in the state, aimed at fostering alignment and ensuring a smooth electoral process.
