Atiku, Obi spotted together at political event in Abuja

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi were among the notable political figures who arrived at the Abuja Continental Hotel on Sunday for the National Political Consultative Group (North) event.

Atiku announced their arrival in a video shared via his official X (formerly Twitter) handle, showcasing both leaders walking into the venue together.

Accompanying the post, Atiku wrote: “H.E. Peter Obi and I just arrived at the Abuja Continental Hotel for the National Political Consultative Group (North) event.”

The presence of the two prominent politicians—both former presidential candidates in the 2023 general elections—has sparked speculation about possible alignments and broader consultations ahead of the 2027 election cycle.
