2027: My problem with Peter Obi – Sam Amadi

Everyone’s attacking Obi, while he worries about Nigeria — Former NERC chair, Amadi

Ahead of the 2027 presidential election, former Chairman of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), has expressed the concern he has with Mr Peter Obi.

Obi was the former presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the last general election.

Amadi, in a post on his X handle on Monday, suggested that some people just want Obi to help them win elections.

Media Talk Africa reports that the supporters of the former Anambra state Governor are heavily divided in whether Obi should deputize Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the 2027 general election.

However, Amadi said some people abuse and tag Obi as being selfish if he does not accept to be vice president to Atiku.

Amadi wrote: “The problem with @PeterObi
“The problem with Peter Obi is that some people just want him to help them win elections. If he does not say “I will be vice president to Atiku” then he is selfish. They abuse him.

“But real supporters of Obi want him to be President

Which side u de?”
