2027: It only exists in Abuja – APC Acting National Chairman, Dalori speaks on coalition

I support Tinubu - APC Acting Chairman, Dalori declares after assuming office

The All Progressives Congress, APC, Acting National Chairman Ali Bukar Dalori has rubbished the coalition being formed to sack the ruling party in the 2027 elections.

In an interview with BBC Hausa, Dalori, who took over office on Monday following the resignation of the APC chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje said the coalition is only popular in Abuja.

According to him, the opposition figures spearheading the movement were only in Abuja hotel and would depart the country immediately they were defeated in election.

He said, “Nobody is talking about a coalition except in Abuja.

“Even in Abuja, they are in a hotel, and when they are defeated in elections, they will leave the country”.

Media Talk Africa reports that former presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and his Labour Party counterpart, Peter Obi are currently leading the coalition.

They have adopted the yet-to-be registered All Democratic Alliance, ADA, as the platform to contest the election.
