There is apprehension among various party supporters in Delta State as they await the results of Saturday’s presidential and National Assembly elections in the state. They lamented that the senatorial and House of Representatives results, which were supposed to have been released within 24 hours, are yet to be released. As of 2 pm, no result has been uploaded by the Independent National Electoral Commission. But the Residents Electoral Commission, Delta State, Mr Monday Tom, had announced that INEC would resume the collation of results from the local government by 6pm on Sunday. Meanwhile, journalists and election observers have been waiting since 8:30 am at the state collation centre but no result from the local government has arrived as of 2:pm.
