Transfer: Chelsea, Man Utd confirm deals for Kellyman, Williams

Chelsea and Manchester United have confirmed transfer deals for two of their young players, Omari Kellyman and Ethan Williams. The Blues announced on their website that Kellyman has joined League One side Cardiff City on a season‑long loan, while United confirmed that Williams has signed a new contract before heading out on loan to Falkirk in Scotland.

Kellyman, a 19‑year‑old midfielder, arrived at Chelsea from Aston Villa last summer. He featured for the club’s Under‑21s in Premier League 2 and the Premier League Cup last season. The loan move to Cardiff City will give him the chance to gain regular playing experience in a competitive league. Prior to joining Chelsea, he developed his skills in Aston Villa’s youth academy, and his progress will continue to be closely monitored by the Premier League club.

Meanwhile, Manchester United’s Ethan Williams has committed his future to the Red Devils by signing a new contract that runs until 2028, with an option for an additional year. The 19‑year‑old forward will embark on his second loan away from Old Trafford, this time with Falkirk in Scotland, after a successful spell at Cheltenham Town in League Two last season. While at Cheltenham, Williams scored his first senior‑level goals, showcasing his potential as a talented young player.

Both Kellyman and Williams are highly regarded by their respective clubs, and the loan moves are seen as important steps in their development as professional footballers. The experience they gain at Cardiff City and Falkirk will be invaluable in helping them achieve their goals and potentially break into their parent clubs’ first teams in the future. As the season progresses, fans and pundits will watch their progress closely, many anticipating a significant impact on the sport.
