2027: Nothing will stop ADC – Atiku sends message to Tinubu

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has reaffirmed his support for Shehu Yohanna as the Acting/Interim Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Adamawa State. This endorsement follows the resolution of all outstanding legal issues, with key stakeholders signing binding agreements. Atiku’s spokesperson, Paul Ibe, urged all ADC members in the state to operate under the party structure led by Yohanna.

Atiku also endorsed the Sadiq Dasin‑led Transition Team, encouraging close cooperation with Yohanna’s executive to strengthen the ADC’s presence in Adamawa. He emphasized the importance of unity, noting that a divided house cannot stand, and expressed satisfaction that the resolution of disputes allows the Adamawa ADC family to end the year on a positive note.

The former Vice President’s directive aligns with the national executive’s stance, headed by Senator David Mark, which tolerates no indiscipline or insubordination. Atiku called on both the Adamawa executive led by Shehu and the Dasin Transition Team to work together to establish the ADC as the preferred political party in the state.

With internal disputes settled and the party’s leadership structure clarified, the ADC is now well positioned to advance its agenda in Adamawa. The collaboration between the Yohanna‑led executive and the Dasin Transition Team is expected to play a crucial role in achieving this goal.
