Royal Air Maroc, a member of the Oneworld Alliance, is set to launch Africa’s first direct flight to Los Angeles, marking a significant expansion of its long-haul network in North America. The new route, which will operate three times a week from Casablanca, is scheduled to commence on June 7, just days before the start of the FIFA World Cup.
The airline’s decision to introduce this new service is largely driven by increased demand ahead of the tournament, which will be co-hosted by the United States, Mexico, and Canada from June 11.
