Actress Doris Ogala attempts suicide after pastor failed to fulfill marriage promise

Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has disputed Pastor Chris Okafor’s claim that she lied about their past interactions. The pastor, founder of Grace Nation Bible Ministry, apologized during a Sunday service, saying “mistakes have been made” and acknowledging “there are so many lies in most of the things that were said.” Ogala, however, rejected the implication that she was dishonest, posting on Facebook that she “doesn’t lie” and taking issue with the pastor’s accusation.

The controversy began when Ogala accused Pastor Okafor of breaking a promise to marry her, prompting a series of allegations against the minister. Ogala’s lawyers, Synergy Law Partners, demanded N1 billion in compensation, citing the alleged broken promise. The dispute intensified after Okafor’s children made additional allegations against their father.

In his apology, Pastor Okafor expressed remorse for any harm caused and offered restitution to those he had offended. Ogala’s response, however, indicates that the matter is far from resolved. By denying that she lied, she maintains that her account of events is accurate and that the pastor’s apology does not fully address the issues at hand.

The dispute between Ogala and Pastor Okafor has attracted significant attention and debate, with many observers following the developments closely. As the situation continues to unfold, it remains uncertain how the parties will move forward or whether a resolution will be reached. For now, Ogala’s denial of the pastor’s claim adds a new layer of complexity to the controversy, underscoring the need for clarity and accountability in the ongoing saga.
