The All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) has been touted as the healthiest and most grassroots-oriented political party in Nigeria, according to its National Vice Chairman for the South-East zone, Rev. Augustine Ehiemere. In a New Year message to supporters and Nigerians, Ehiemere emphasized the party’s mission to address the pressing issues of terrorism and insecurity in the South East region.

Under the leadership of National Chairman Sly Eze Ezeokenwa, APGA aims to win elections in Abia and other South-East states in 2027. The party’s goal, according to Ehiemere, is to rescue Nigeria and the South East from the grip of insecurity and economic hardship.
