Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule has confirmed that arrests have been made in connection with the recent deadly attack on the Akunza-Ashige community in Lafia Local Government Area. The governor assured residents that security agencies are still pursuing other suspects linked to the incident. The incident occurred on December 31, 2025, when armed attackers invaded the Akunza-Ashige community in the early hours of the day.
