Eko Disco appoints Wola Joseph-Condotti CEO

Wola Joseph-Condotti has taken on a new role as interim Chief Executive of Eko Electricity Distribution Plc (Eko Disco), effective January 13, 2026. Prior to her appointment, she served as Group Managing Director and Chief Executive of the company’s parent entity, West Power & Gas Limited. Joseph-Condotti brings extensive experience in the energy sector, having held various strategic positions within Eko Disco, including Chief Legal and Company Secretary, Head of Regulatory Compliance, and Chief Human Resources and Administration Officer.

Her expertise extends beyond Eko Disco, as she is recognized as a thought leader in Nigeria’s power space, with a focus on renewable energy, sustainability, and carbon markets. Joseph-Condotti’s professional background is rooted in law and finance, with degrees from the University of Ibadan, Harvard Law School, and INSEAD Business School. She is also a certified board evaluation professional and corporate governance trainer.

In other news, MultiChoice Nigeria has announced the appointment of Kemi Omotosho as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective January 2026. Omotosho succeeds John Ugbe, who retired after nearly 15 years at the helm of the pay television company. With over two decades of experience in media, telecommunications, and digital services, Omotosho has held senior leadership roles within the MultiChoice Group, including Executive Head of Customer Value Management in Nigeria and Group Executive Head of Customer Value Management for the Rest of Africa.

Omotosho’s appointment follows a structured transition process designed to ensure continuity and stability within the business. She has expressed her commitment to deepening consumer relationships and championing local storytelling in Nigeria, a strategic and dynamic market for the company.
