EPL: Joao Felix gives condition to sign for Chelsea permanently

Chelsea forward, Joao Felix, has suggested that he would be keen to join the club permanently in the summer if the Blues play in the Champions League next season.

Felix is currently on loan at Chelsea from Atletico Madrid.

His loan deal with Chelsea will expire at the end of the season.

“In terms of if I want to stay or not, I think the future, no one knows,” Felix was quoted by ESPN as saying ahead of Chelsea’s Champions League tie with Dortmund on Tuesday night.

“Now I am just focused on tomorrow’s game. After that, we don’t know what will happen.

“But I am happy here. The club is so big, it is amazing, everyone behind the club is so good, so yes, I’m happy to be here.”

He added, “Playing Champions League, it is [an] important decision. But the future, no one knows, so let’s see what happens.”
