The committee, comprising distinguished Nigerians from various fields, aims to create a people-centered and forward-looking policy framework for national governance.

The committee’s formation is part of the ADC’s effort to develop a credible policy direction that reflects the aspirations of Nigerians. Chaired by Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, with Professor Pat Utomi as deputy chairman and Salihu Lukman as secretary, the committee includes former public office holders, academics, technocrats, policy experts, and civil society leaders.

Members of the committee bring a wealth of experience in governance, economic management, social development, security, and democratic reform. The committee’s task is to develop a clear and credible policy direction that positions the ADC as a viable alternative for responsible leadership and national development.

The ADC emphasized that Nigeria’s challenges require policies anchored on competence, integrity, and national consensus. The party expressed confidence that the committee will produce a manifesto that addresses the real needs of Nigerians. The committee’s formal inauguration is scheduled for February 2, 2026, at the ADC National Secretariat in Abuja.

The establishment of the committee is a significant step towards the ADC’s goal of providing a viable alternative for Nigerians.
