Nigeria international Taiwo Awoniyi has been awarded Nottingham Forest’s Goal of the Month for January, recognising his decisive strike in the Premier League victory over Brentford.

Awoniyi received a through pass from Morgan Gibbs-White, advanced into the Brentford penalty area, and fired a composed finish past goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher.
