Datapro, a technology‑driven credit rating agency, issued its latest report assigning LandWey Investments Limited a long‑term rating of “BBB” with a stable outlook for the 2022/2023 financial period. The rating reflects an assessment of the company’s revenue, profitability, capital structure, asset quality and liquidity.

In a statement signed by Client Service Personnel Kehinde Rasheed, LandWey reported that its revenue streams improved over the four‑year period from 2018 to 2022, with 2022 revenue increasing by 48 % compared with the prior year. Earnings for the period were largely derived from the sale of landed properties, and the company’s efficiency was evident in higher profit margins, return on shareholders’ equity and return on assets.

The statement explained that the positive rating reflects Datapro’s view of LandWey’s diversified revenue sources, solid project experience and favorable macro‑economic environment. A “BBB” rating indicates slight risk, denoting fair financial strength, operating performance and business profile relative to Datapro’s standards. The agency believes the company can meet its ongoing obligations, although its financial strength could be vulnerable to adverse economic changes.

For the short term, Datapro assigned an “A2” rating, indicating fair credit quality and adequate capacity to meet financial commitments on time. The rating is valid for a maximum of 12 calendar months, in line with International Best Practice. Datapro emphasized that the rating is not an offer to trade securities nor a substitute for the user’s judgment; it is provided for reference purposes only.
