The Pittsburgh Steelers are conducting pre-draft visits with three prospects from the Big Ten Conference on Tuesday, as reported by Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com. The players being evaluated are former Penn State guard Oluwaseyi “Ola” Ioane, former Iowa guard Beau Stephens, and former Ohio State tight end Will Kacmarek.

Oluwaseyi Ioane is a standout offensive lineman who started 27 games at left guard for the Nittany Lions over the past two seasons. He earned first-team All-Big Ten honors in 2025 and is widely regarded as one of the top guards in this year’s draft class. Analysts frequently project him as a potential first-round selection, highlighting his high value to NFL teams.

Beau Stephens, who also made the All-Big Ten team, brings a wealth of experience from his time with the Iowa Hawkeyes. He started 35 games during his collegiate career, showcasing durability and consistency on the field. His impressive performance has attracted attention from multiple NFL franchises in search of reliable offensive line talent.

Will Kacmarek, the tight end from Ohio State, offers a different skill set. Over the last two seasons, he recorded 23 receptions for 254 yards and two touchdowns. While his statistics may not be as eye-catching as those of some other prospects, his size and blocking ability could make him an appealing option for teams looking to enhance their tight end depth.

The Steelers’ interest in these players reflects their ongoing efforts to strengthen their roster ahead of the upcoming NFL Draft. By meeting with prospects from a conference known for producing NFL-ready talent, Pittsburgh aims to identify players who can contribute immediately or develop into key contributors in the future. As the draft approaches, teams like the Steelers will continue to evaluate prospects through visits, workouts, and interviews. These interactions provide valuable insights into a player’s character, work ethic, and fit within the team’s system. For Ioane, Stephens, and Kacmarek, these meetings represent a critical step in their journey toward potentially joining an NFL roster.
