Amazon’s biggest sale of the year is finally here. As someone who shops for a living, I’ve been combing through deals for the past month, and I’ll be on high alert all week long.

Yes, plenty of outlets will hype the big-name brands like Dyson and Apple. And sure, USA TODAY Shopping will spotlight those customer favorites too. But personally, I get a kick out of uncovering the hidden gems—the deals that fly under the radar.

Over the last few years, some of my greatest Amazon discoveries have been a mini chainsaw, a laser tape measure, and even a pair of electric scissors. And I’m not just talking tools. This year, I’ve stumbled on off-the-beaten-path Prime Day deals spanning beauty, home, style, and more.

Here’s the thing: trending deals aren’t always the best deals. Focus on actual value instead of popularity. The strongest early discounts tend to be on items you’ll use daily—home essentials, skincare staples, things that make life easier.

Sometimes the better deal isn’t the most recognizable product, but the one that delivers more bang for your buck at checkout.

Amazon Prime Day 2026 runs from Tuesday, June 23 through Friday, June 26—a four-day shopping event. Most deals are exclusive to Prime members, though some early offers may be available to everyone.
