Sixteen housemates faced possible eviction following the nomination process, though several key figures entered the night with guaranteed safety. Head of House Sheba held immunity and exercised her veto power to save Chimsom Chuka. Additionally, Aikou and Flora remained shielded from the vote in their capacity as The Gambits, a twist introduced this season.
Before the eviction announcements, Biggie revealed the winner of the Most Influential Player of the Week title. Housemates voted Chimsom Chuka as the individual with the greatest impact on house dynamics, tasks, and conversations during the opening week. The recognition secures him a share of the accumulated prize pot to be awarded at the end of the season.
Martins was the first to leave the house. On stage with host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, he addressed the abrupt end to his two-week stay. When asked about his mindset and immediate plans, Martins remained composed. “Such is life. I’m just focused on what’s next. I will surprise you the world. Stay locked in,” he said.
Mercedes followed shortly after, joining the host to reflect on her experience. She expressed satisfaction with her effort despite the early exit. “I did everything I could. I showed myself. I went beyond my limit,” she stated. Outlining her post-show priorities, she added, “I will continue my massage business, push my concierge business and pay for my father’s surgery.”
