Nigerian content creator Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller, has taken delivery of a 2026 Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon gifted to him by investor Mansa. The vehicle was presented at an automobile dealership where Peller arrived to find the SUV wrapped in a ceremonial ribbon.
While signing the vehicle receipt, Peller noted the listed price of ₦300 million. He reacted with animated disbelief, addressing Mansa directly: “300, Mansa, 300. Guys, see, it’s 30 million. Mansa, you no go run mad, you no go die before your time.” The remark, delivered in a mix of English and Pidgin, drew laughter from those present.
Peller later stated his intention to have the vehicle wrapped in pink. He drove the G-Wagon from the dealership, accelerating heavily in a manner that unsettled his friend and fellow content creator, Kolu. Kolu asked to take over driving duties, but Peller declined, stating Kolu was not permitted to operate the vehicle.
In a lighthearted moment, Peller joked with his security detail, instructing his bouncer to confront any “agbero” — a local term for street touts — who might attempt to touch the new car.
During the paperwork process, Peller was asked to provide his legal name. He confirmed it as Habeeb Hamzat, distinguishing it from his professional moniker.
The gift underscores the growing commercial valuation of digital creators in Nigeria’s entertainment Economy, where brand partnerships and investor patronage increasingly translate into high-value asset acquisitions. Mansa, who has backed several creators, has not publicly commented on the transaction beyond the handover. Peller, whose comedy and lifestyle content commands millions of followers across platforms, has not disclosed whether the vehicle will feature in upcoming productions.
