Real Madrid will face Chelsea in the Champions League quarter‑finals, while Manchester City were drawn against Pep Guardiola’s former club Bayern Munich. Serie A leaders Napoli meet AC Milan in an all‑Italian clash, and Inter Milan take on Portuguese champions Benfica.
The winner of the Real Madrid–Chelsea tie will face either City or Bayern in the semi‑finals, opening the possibility of an all‑English last‑four. This also raises the chances of an Italian side reaching the final for the first time since Juventus in 2017, as Inter could meet either Milan or Napoli in the last four if they defeat Benfica.
The quarter‑final first legs are scheduled for 11 and 12 April. Real Madrid host Chelsea at the Santiago Bernabéu before traveling to London for the return leg a week later. Manchester City will host Bayern Munich for the first leg. Inter were originally drawn to play Benfica at home, but the fixture has been switched to Lisbon to avoid a clash with AC Milan’s meeting with Napoli at the San Siro.
The semi‑finals will be played in May, and the final is set for Saturday, 10 June, in Istanbul.
