Stakeholders will highlight opportunities in Nigeria’s oil and gas sector at the fourth edition of the Nigerian Oil and Gas Opportunity Fair. Organized by the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), the biennial fair runs from May 17‑19 at the NCDMB Conference Centre in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, under the theme “The oil and gas industry – catalyst and fuel for the industrialisation of Nigeria.”

The fair, first introduced by the Engr. Simbi Wabote‑led NCDMB in 2017, debuted in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. Since then, it has showcased short‑ to medium‑term plans and activities of operators and project promoters across the upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors of the Nigerian oil and gas industry.

According to the NCDMB chief executive, the event aims to give Nigerian service companies the chance to build relevant capacities. He added that the conference also seeks to reassure industry stakeholders that opportunities still abound in Nigeria’s oil and gas sector, encouraging them to look forward and invest despite concerns about the energy transition and other emerging global developments.
