Cadbury Nigeria Plc announced that the winners of Season 4 of its Bourn Factor School Talent Competition have been selected. The company noted that the victorious schools represent a range of states across the country. Since its inception in 2019, the competition has awarded winning schools with cash prizes and sponsorship for a social‑impact activity of their choosing.
Golden Treasure Model Nursery and Primary School in Abeokuta, Ogun State, secured the grand prize of N3 million. Evanna Vision Academy in Benin City, Edo State, placed second and received N2 million, while Treasure Gold Kiddies Academy in Akure, Ondo State, took third place and won N1 million.
Oyeyimika Adeboye, Managing Director of Cadbury West Africa, affirmed the company’s commitment to children’s mental well‑being and its intention to continue supporting campaigns that promote children’s interests. “We recognise that many children have a strong affinity for extracurricular activities beyond the standard curriculum,” she said. “The Bourn Factor School Talent Competition aims to recognise and encourage these talents. It is essential for Bournvita to invest in the talent and education of children—our key consumers—by partnering with schools.”
Tolu Olaoye, Category Manager for Cocoa Beverages and Biscuits at Cadbury West Africa, added, “We see ourselves as partners to parents and guardians, providing children with 16 essential vitamins and minerals, such as iron, zinc, and calcium, for healthy growth and mental alertness. Bournvita is also dedicated to improving digital literacy; we have equipped past competition winners with well‑fitted computer laboratories. Additionally, we require winning schools to propose a charity that we support both financially and materially. We believe these initiatives are investments in the future health of our country.”
