Eleven weeks after the curtains opened on the *Big Brother Titans* reality TV show, South African contestant Khosi emerged as the winner, taking home $100,000 and a host of additional prizes. The first runner‑up was Nigerian fan‑favorite Kanaga (Jnr), an actor and model who describes himself as “a sensitive young man who loves older women.” In an ironic twist, the first finalist to be evicted was Ipeleng, who had been the first contestant to reach the finale. Speaking shortly after her departure, Ipeleng called her experience “beautiful but crazy,” admitting that she entered the house shy but left with greater confidence.

The next evictee was Nigerian Ebubu, the first albino to reach the finale of the popular reality show. He called his time in the house “exceptional and a new experience,” and, when asked about the connections he made, simply smiled. Yvonne followed, saying that although she did not become the last woman standing, she still considered herself a winner. She expressed hope that her romance with fellow housemate Juicy Jay would continue after the show, noting that Jay, a South African, had promised to visit Lagos, Nigeria. The fourth housemate to leave was Tsatsii, who also felt she was a winner because she never expected to be among the top three contestants. “Everybody will remember the top three contestants. I feel so happy,” she said.

The show began on Sunday, 15 January 2023, with 20 contestants—ten Nigerians and ten South Africans. The original Nigerian housemates were Yemi Cregx, Olivia, Blaqboy, Nana, Marven, Jaypee, Ebubu, Jenni O, Kanaga, and Yvonne. Their South African counterparts were Cossy, Juicy Jay, Nelisa, Mmeli, Khosi, Ipeleng, Thabang, Yaya, Khehla, Tsatsii, and Justin. Four additional housemates joined about four days into the competition, bringing the total to 24: Nigerians Sandra and Miracle OP, and South Africans Blue Aiva and Theo Traw.

Filled with intrigue, relationships, fights and heartbreak, the season also served as a vibrant exchange of South African and Nigerian cultures. Many housemates said they learned new things about each other’s traditions. The grand finale featured scintillating performances by Nigerian act Mayorlun and South African DJ Maphorisa, and introduced a locked box on stage that contained the name of the eventual winner.
