Experts say that financial and economic troubles often push many Nigerians to the brink. Repeated failures, frustrations, and the inability to pursue one’s true desires can lead to self‑reproach, aggression, and a tendency to blame society for personal setbacks. The World Health Organization reports that 75 % of global suicides occur in low‑ and middle‑income countries, reflecting a breakdown in the ability to cope with life stresses such as financial problems, relationship breakups, and chronic pain or illness during crises.

Life is imperfect for everyone—whether rich or poor, beautiful or unattractive, sick or healthy. It is essential to cultivate strength and resilience to confront our fears. Maintaining hope, and perhaps even optimism, while keeping faith in the face of adversity, is crucial. Please listen to our podcast and share your thoughts.
