EPL: Messi offered Ronaldo’s no.7 shirt at Man Utd as ten Hag moves for PSG superstar

Manchester United have offered Paris Saint-Germain’s superstar Lionel Messi Cristaino Ronaldo’s number 7 shirt if he finally joins the Premier League giants.

The Argentine legend is being targeted by the Red Devils for a blockbuster summer move, according to El Nacional.

The report claims that should the 2022 World Cup winner make a move to Old Trafford, the 7-time Ballon d’Or winner could inherit Ronaldo’s legendary number seven jersey at Old Trafford.

Multiple reports have that the former Barcelona ace could leave Parc des Princes this summer with his contract set to expire in June.

Messi has also been the target of whistles from the France capital club’s faithful over the last two home games.

With widespread reports suggesting he could leave France in the transfer window, Manchester United have become the latest name to be linked with a move for him.

Erik ten Hag’s side are on the hunt for a marquee attacking addition to their struggling forward line, currently being led by Burnley loanee Wout Weghorst.

The Red Devils are targeting the likes of Harry Kane and Victor Osimhen, but they could now be bolstered by the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner.
