Don Jazzy Takes a Stand Against the Unfair Treatment of Single Ladies by Lagos Landlords

Don Jazzy, the veteran Nigerian producer and singer, has spoken out against the unjust treatment of single women seeking accommodation in Lagos by property rentals.

The Mavin boss took to Twitter on Sunday to call out Lagos landlords who make it difficult for single women to rent properties.

Don Jazzy questioned why it was so challenging for single women to find a place to rent in Lagos and what they had done to warrant such unfair treatment.

He wrote, “Dear Lagos landlords, what did single women do to you people? Why is it hell for them to rent a place?”

Don Jazzy’s tweet garnered numerous reactions, with many social media users agreeing with his sentiments and sharing their own experiences.

Single women in Nigeria have often faced discrimination based on societal stereotypes, and it appears this bias extends to the housing sector as well.

Don Jazzy’s call to action highlights the importance of creating a fair and equitable society for all, regardless of gender or marital status.

It is essential to address and confront these issues to ensure equal treatment in all facets of life, including access to housing.
