Eleventh-hour appointment: Governor Badaru appoints new Managing Director of Jigawa’s Capital Development Company

In a last-minute appointment, Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar has named Madaki Abdulkadir Ja’e as the new Managing Director of Dutse Capital Development. This comes barely 48 hours before the governor-elect assumes office.

A statement released by the Public Relations Officer in the Office of the Secretary to the Government and Office Head of Civil Service, Jigawa State, Ismaila Ibrahim Dutse, confirmed the appointment. The appointment is effective immediately.

Madaki Ja’e holds a membership certificate from the Surveyors Council of Nigeria (SURCON). He was previously a staff member of the Ministry of Lands, Housing, Urban Development and Regional Planning. He later served as the Director of Planning Research and Statistics in the Ministry of Works and Housing from 2004 to 2007.

The statement also directed Arch, Saleh Abubukar Gumel to report to the office of the Head of the Civil Service.
