In a statement released on Saturday evening, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President, Femi Adesina, announced that President Muhammadu Buhari will deliver a farewell message to Nigerians on Sunday at 7am. The President will address the nation in a broadcast which will be aired on all Nigerian Television Authority and Radio Nigeria stations. Adesina also urged all other electronic media outlets to tune in to the network services for the broadcast. This comes as President Buhari’s tenure comes to an end after his 5-year term in office. Nigerians will be eagerly anticipating the President’s final message to the nation, as the country faces several challenges including insecurity and economic threats. As the broadcast approaches, Nigerians are looking forward to hearing the President’s plans for addressing these issues, especially as the country prepares for a new administration to take over in the coming days. All eyes and ears will be on President Buhari as he addresses the nation in one final farewell message before he hands over the reins to his successor.
