Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, has made his first appointment after being reinaugurated as governor. The governor has announced the reappointment of his Press Secretary, Mr. Humwashi Wonosikou.
The announcement was made during a gala night dinner held at the Government House in Yola on Monday. This event was part of the celebrations for Fintiri’s inauguration into his second term.
Earlier on Monday, Fintiri dissolved his cabinet, calling on all commissioners and other political appointees to hand over all government property in their care. Hours later, Fintiri was sworn-in alongside his new deputy, Prof. Kaletapwa, making them the only two officials in the new government.
It is expected that new appointments to the cabinet will be made in the coming days.
