The Governor of Katsina State, Dikko Radda, has approved the appointment of key government officials, including the Secretary to the Government of the State and the Chief of Staff. The appointments were made known in a statement signed by the Governor himself on Monday.

According to the statement, Ahmed Dangiwa is appointed as the Secretary to the Government of Katsina State, while Jabiru Tsauri is named the Chief of Staff. Additionally, Muhtar Saulawa will serve as the Deputy Chief of Staff, while Abdullahi Turaji is appointed as the Principal Private Secretary to the Governor.

Maiwada Danmallam has been appointed as the Director General of Media, while Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed will serve as the Chief Press Secretary. In addition, Miqdad Isah has been appointed as a Senior Special Assistant to handle digital media, and Abubakar Jikamshi will serve as a Senior Special Assistant responsible for print and electronic media.

The new appointments also include Bishir Maikano, who will now serve as the Senior Special Assistant (Protocol) to the Deputy Governor’s Office. Meanwhile, Hassan Danhaire has been appointed as Senior Special Assistant (Special Duties) to the Deputy Governor’s Office, and Ahmed Rabiu will serve as the Official Photographer to the Governor.

Speaking on the appointments, Governor Radda congratulated the new appointees and expressed confidence in their ability to assist him in transforming the state.

The governor’s decision to make these key appointments is in line with his promise to revamp the administration and implement policies that will drive growth and development in Katsina State.
