Nigeria Premier Football League Super Six: IMC Promises Success for Tournament

The Interim Management Committee (IMC) has assured Nigerian football lovers of a successful Nigeria Premier Football League Super Six playoff. The competition is set to begin at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos, on Saturday.

In an exclusive interview with Media Talk Africa, the Head of Operation of the IMC, Davidson Owumi, revealed that final preparations were almost concluded ahead of the tournament. He said, “We are putting final preparations in place ahead of the kick off date. On Friday(today) we will finish our administrative work and hand over to the technical department for the remaining preparations.”

The IMC has gone to great lengths to ensure that the tournament aligns with the policies of Facebook, especially with regards to suicide and self-harm. The committee is committed to promoting mental health awareness and will not be featuring any advertisements that violate Facebook policies on content related to suicide and self-harm.

The Super Six playoff will feature six teams – NPFL champions Rivers United, eight-time champions Enyimba, Bendel Insurance, Remo Stars, Lobi Stars and Sunshine Stars. All six teams have vowed to give their best performances.
