Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today, the lawmaker mentioned Tinubu personally told him about Akpabio as his choiced candidate for the seat.
According to Ndume: “The President told me that his preferred candidate is Akpabio and I should lead the campaign.”
He mentioned Tinubu expressed his confidence within the capabilities of Akpabio and that he gained’t change his thoughts on his place as his most well-liked candidate for the seat.
