BBNaija reunion: Beauty Tukura embraces maturity, asserts she’s not vengeful over ex’s new relationship

In a surprising twist of events, former Big Brother Naija Season 7 housemate, Beauty Tukura, calmly addressed her ex-boyfriend, Groovy’s relationship with her friend, Phyna during the ‘Level Up’ reunion show. Tukura, demonstrating remarkable maturity, revealed that she had no qualms about their newfound love, confidently asserting that she is not a jealous person.

When questioned by the host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, about her thoughts on the Groovy-Phyna relationship, Tukura responded, “Honestly, I didn’t have a problem with that. And I will tell you why because first, I’m very in touch with reality. Does that make sense? I’m as real as they come.”

Indeed, Tukura’s grounded nature shone through her words as she further explained, “Even when I left the [Big Brother] House, my first interview they asked me about him [Groovy] and everything, I said that I felt sorry about what I said about him. I was very clear, I was like, I don’t expect him not to move on.”

With a self-assured tone, Tukura emphasized, “So, I never have a problem if Groovy was going to be with anybody else. I’m not a witch. I will not have a problem with it.”

However, Tukura shared an unfortunate incident that led to a temporary rift between herself and Phyna. She revealed that she overheard a clip of Phyna stating, “I should die,” referring to Tukura. This seemingly callous remark left Tukura feeling hurt and betrayed, prompting her to snub Phyna at a party following the reality show.

Tukura’s response to seeing her ex-boyfriend moving on in a new relationship is a testament to her emotional maturity and ability to let go of the past. By conveying her lack of jealousy and resentment, Tukura exhibits a level of grace and understanding seldom seen in such circumstances.
