Mikel Arteta flies out with 27 Arsenal players for US pre-season tour [Full list]

Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, on Sunday, flew to the United States, US, with 27 players in his squad for part of their pre-season preparation.

Arsenal disclosed this in a post via its website on Sunday.

The Gunners departed London Stansted airport on Sunday afternoon, heading across the Atlantic on an Emirates 777 aircraft.

This is coming after their two friendlies against Watford and 1. FC Nurnberg.

Arteta’s side will take on the MLS All-Stars team at Audi Field, Washington D.C on Wednesday.

The MLS All-Stars will be led by D.C. United manager, Wayne Rooney.

After the game, Arsenal will then travel to New Jersey, where they will take on Manchester United in the MetLife Stadium on Saturday, July 22 and their third and final leg of the US Tour 2023 will be against Barcelona in Los Angeles on Wednesday, July 26 at SoFi Stadium.

Meanwhile, Emile Smith Rowe and Thomas Partey are expected to join Arsenal’s squad next week.
