Tourism commissioner summons Tinapa studio site engineer

Cross River State commissioner, Ntufam Ekpenyong Iso has summoned the site engineer handling the renovation of the arts studios at Tinapa Business Resort Calabar.

He gave the summon when he stopped over at the sprawling complex yesterday to inspect the ongoing reconstruction of the studio as part of the promise by the State government to revamp cultural and tourism facilities in the State.

“I have directed that the site engineer should see me with all relevant documents concerning the project since he was not available when I conducted inspection at the reconstruction of the Tinapa arts studios”, he told journalists.

Iso stated that the State is poised to consolidate on its gains as the premier tourism destination in Nigeria.

The commissioner inspected the Arts and Crafts Village, Children Fun Space and the main bowl of the complex.

He encouraged the management team to key into the ideology of the State Governor, Prof Ben Ayade to make the State stand out in the areas of cultural and tourism appeals.

The management team of the Cultural Centre, led by the Senior Special Adviser to the governor, Chief Victor Effiom expressed happiness and readiness to work with the new Commissioner for greater achievements.
