Gov. Yahaya Bello Fires Special Adviser on Stakeholders Relations

Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has announced the termination of Mr. Anthony Ogah’s appointment as the Special Adviser on Stakeholders Relations. The firing of Ogah, who served in this capacity, was made effective from Sunday.

The decision to sack Ogah was communicated by Mrs. Folashade Arike-Ayoade, the Secretary to the Government of Kogi, in a statement issued in Lokoja.

The statement from the state government did not provide any reason for Ogah’s dismissal. However, it mentioned that Governor Bello extends his best wishes to Ogah in his future endeavors.

As part of the termination of his appointment, Ogah has been instructed to promptly return his identity card, along with any other government property or documents in his possession, to the Permanent Secretary, Administration, in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the state.
