Tinubu’s lawyer opens up on wrong gender in CSU certificates, other discrepancies

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s lawyer, Wole Afolabi, blamed a mixup at Chicago State University for his consumer’s certificates indicating feminine.

Afolabi made the reason when he appeared on Channels Television on Friday morning.

“The transcript that was provided by Southwest College indicated F. It was clear. All of the other particulars did match information of President Bola Tinubu,” he stated.

Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the February election, throughout a press convention in Abuja on Thursday, highlighted causes he insisted that Tinubu’s Chicago State University, CSU, certificates was cast.

“Now, the registrar was interviewed on why the discrepancies. He said the person applying for the school ticked the box of a male not a female and when the admission letter was issued it was issued to Mr Tinubu,” Afolabi added.

“When the question was put to Dr West Brown, he said it is not unusual for universities to mix up. He (West Brown) has been to several universities. It is possible.”

On the discrepancies in the signatures on the certificates, Afolabi stated that certificates weren’t issued on the time of commencement till one utilized for them.

He added that the one who issued the certificates Tinubu submitted to INEC may not have been in the college in 1979.
