Justice Served: Police Officer Sentenced to Death for Fatal Shooting of Lawyer Omobolanle Raheem

In a landmark ruling, Justice Ibironke Harrison of the Lagos High Court has delivered a verdict that will send shockwaves throughout the nation. Police officer, Darambi Vandi, has been sentenced to death by hanging for the tragic killing of lawyer Mrs Omobolanle Raheem on Christmas Day last year.

The incident took place at the Ajah Roundabout on the busy Lekki Expressway in Lagos State, where Vandi fired a fatal shot into Raheem’s chest. The lawyer’s untimely death left the community and legal fraternity in mourning.
