Playing as a forward for Ligue 1 club Lorient, Moffi has tallied 12 goals in 19 matches, placing him second in the league behind Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappé, who has 13 goals. Moffi stands out as the only Nigerian international to average a goal every 106 minutes this season, with notable performances including braces against Clermont Foot and Lens, as well as goals against Lyon and Auxerre. At 23 years old, he is currently the most expensive player in the Lorient squad.
Ademola Lookman occupies the third spot as the second highest goal scorer in Serie A, trailing only Victor Osimhen with 11 goals from 18 matches. The winger for Atalanta has also provided three assists this season, showcasing his significant contribution to the team’s offensive play.
Although not born in Nigeria, Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka is of Nigerian descent and ranks fourth on this list. The British-born player has scored eight goals in 19 matches for the Gunners, along with seven assists.
