President Tinubu Appoints Twenty Commissioners for National Population Commission

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has authorized the appointment of twenty (20) distinguished Nigerians to function Federal Commissioners within the National Population Commission (NPC) with 9 present Federal Commissioners being appointed to a second time period in workplace.

Representing Abia State is Hon. Emmanuel Trump Eke, Bishop Alex Ukam is to signify Cross River State, Ms. Blessyn Brume-Ataguba — Delta State, Dr. Jeremiah Ogbonna Nwankwegu — Ebonyi State and Ms. Sa’adatu Dogon Bauchi Garba — Kaduna State.

Other newly appointees are Dr. Aminu Ibrahim Tsanyawa — Kano; Hon. Yori Afolabi — Kogi; Hon. Olakunle Sobukola — Ogun State; Hon. Temitayo Oluseye Oluwatuyi -Ondo State; and Mr. Ogiri Itotenaan Henry; Rivers State.

The re-appointed Federal Commissioners are Dr. Clifford Zirra — Adamawa State; Mr. Chidi Christopher Ezeoke — Anambra State; Barr. Isa Audu Buratai — Borno; Dr. Tony Aiyejina — Edo; Mr. Ejike Ezeh — Enugu State; Mr. Abubakar Damburam — Gombe State.

Also re-appointed are Prof. Uba Nnabue — Imo state; Sen. Mudashiru Hussain — Osun state; Ms. Mary Ishaya Afan — Plateau State; and Mr. Saany Sale — Taraba State.

The President charged the brand new and returning NPC Federal Commissioners to efficiently implement all measures taken by his administration to supply and successfully acceptable correct inhabitants information with which lasting options to Nigeria’s socio-political and financial challenges could be conclusively developed and resolved.
