NSCDC Urges Nigerians to Take Proactive Security Measures During Yuletide Season

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Lagos State Command, emphasized the importance of preventive security measures to ensure the safety of Nigerians. Mr. Abolurin Oluwaseun, the Public Relations Officer, delivered this advice during a webinar titled ‘Navigating End-of-Year Security Issues’, hosted by the Lagos State Branch of the Institute of Safety Professionals (ISPON).

Oluwaseun highlighted the significance of heightened security during the Yuletide period, emphasizing the need for proactive steps rather than reactive measures.

He stressed the need for secure environments, particularly in schools, and underscored the crucial role of security agencies in addressing increasing threats. Oluwaseun emphasized the importance of timely security interventions to safeguard people, especially during travel, from the risk of robbery and attacks by unscrupulous individuals.

As the festive season approaches, the NSCDC’s call for precautionary security actions serves as a timely reminder for all Nigerians to prioritize their safety and well-being.
