Governor Fubara Commits to Youth Development

Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers State made a resolute declaration on Tuesday, affirming his unwavering commitment to fulfilling his promises of enhancing the livelihoods of the youth populace.

Fubara expressed this unwavering resolve during the swearing-in ceremony of the 2023 Batch C Stream II of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).

In his address, the governor assured that his administration would ensure the provision of adequate security and welfare for all corps members deployed to the state.

Represented by Hamilton Amadi, the Permanent Secretary, Cabinet Bureau, Office of the Secretary to the State Government, Governor Fubara pledged steadfastness and resolution in ensuring the delivery of the best dividends of democracy to the corps members.

“I am confident that with divine guidance, we will fulfill our commitments. We are unwavering in our focus to improve the quality of life for our youths, who are the cornerstone of our society. Through these efforts, we aim to position Rivers State as a model for other states to emulate,” he remarked.
