Nigerian Government Introduces Additional Motor Parks for 50% Transport Fare Discounts

The Nigerian federal government has expanded the list of designated motor parks where travelers can benefit from a 50% discount on transport fares for return trips during the festive season.
Temitope Ajayi, the senior special assistant to the president on media and publicity, made the announcement in a statement on Friday via his official social media platform.
The administration led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has pledged to subsidize the travel expenses of passengers intending to journey during the yuletide season.
Initially introduced on December 25, the 50% transportation rebate saw 128 road transport passengers on northern routes receiving a refund of half of their fares through a designated monitoring group overseeing the implementation.

Aba – Abia Polytechnic, Aba
Kano – Balmary Park, Ring Road/Maiduguri Bypass, Hotoro
