The National Lottery Trust Fund (NLTF) reaffirms its dedication to alleviating poverty in Nigeria, led by Dr. Bello Maigari, the Executive Secretary. During a recent meeting with the Renewed Hope Ambassadors’ Forum for President Tinubu/Shettima in Abuja, Dr. Maigari outlined the agency’s commitment to driving positive change in crucial areas such as education, skills acquisition, poverty reduction, and healthcare enhancement.
Emphasizing the significance of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s eight-point agenda, Dr. Maigari urged governmental bodies, particularly ministries, departments, and agencies, to unite in realizing this transformative vision.
The NLTF has conducted comprehensive surveys and deployed field officers nationwide to assess critical needs. Notably, the agency has made substantial strides in furnishing primary healthcare centers with essential medical equipment, facilitating rural water supply, and bolstering educational initiatives across the country.
Furthermore, Dr. Maigari expressed the NLTF’s unwavering commitment to collaborating with various governmental entities to advance President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, injecting impetus into poverty alleviation efforts from the lottery sector.
Conveying the forum’s objectives, Abbas Mustapha, the National Coordinator, articulated the alliance’s pursuit of sustainable partnerships and support from the NLTF. The forum, an active proponent of Nigeria’s national development and governance advocacy, aligns with Tinubu’s pivotal agenda.
