APC Accuses Opposition of Inciting Protests to Undermine Government

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has accused opposition parties of instigating mass protests in Nigeria’s Minna and Kano states to discredit the ruling party. The APC’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, stated that the protests were part of a deliberate effort to depict the government as ineffective.

Morka emphasized that the simultaneous protests in both cities were orchestrated to foment unrest and destabilize the government. He condemned this tactic as a threat to public peace and national security, calling on citizens to resist being manipulated by the opposition’s divisive agenda.

While acknowledging the people’s right to peaceful protest, Morka urged vigilance against divisive rhetoric and manipulative schemes aimed at stoking social discord. He reassured the public of the government’s commitment to implementing reforms for economic recovery and sustainable prosperity.

Emphasizing the long-term benefits of these reforms, Morka appealed to Nigerians to reject attempts by opposition elements to undermine the country for political gain. He called on citizens to support the government’s efforts to improve the nation’s overall well-being.
